Open Question: HOW DO I UNPLUG MY EARS?
I rode on an airplane today, and my ears got really, REALLY plugged. Luckily, one unplugged naturally about 10 minutes after the flight, but my right ear is still plugged. The flight was at about 3:00 this afternoon....it's 12:20 am. I don't want to blow while I hold my nose. That really isn't such a good idea haha. Any other ways for me to unplug my ears? Without pain? (swallowing isn't doing anything, I tried gum and drinking) And when I yawn, my ear just becomes plugged again right after I yawn. :( Please help, I can't hear. :(

Open Question: Is he just toying with me or what?
About a month ago my boyfriend of a year and a month and I broke up because apparently I was too good for him... he went on an hour long rant about it. After that we agreed to be friends. It was almost two weeks till he said something to me, so we started talking like friends... but I shortly realized how much I couldn't just be friends with him after every that history, so I told him that. I cried, he hugged me and we talked it out with him saying that he'll be there for me and that he needed me in his life. He'd said that he couldn't receive back together because there is so many things on his priority list that he needs to receive through first - receive straight A's, SAT is coming up, needs to receive a job so he can have extra cash and receive a new phone... stuff like that. He's a junior in high school and I'm a sophomore. So we agreed to stay friends. But the day after, we were at school and it was nearly the end of the day. I was really pissed off because somebody (I have no clue) stole my money and new headphones. I was at my locker and of course my ex comes to me and starts talking, I let him know I'm having a bad day. We agreed to talk about it after class because the bell was about to ring and it was our last class. After class, we walked upstairs to the gym, it's where he usually dropped me off because I had lacrosse practice. As I'm about to tell him what happened, he puts in one of his earphones. So I start to talk and he keeps asking me what I'm saying, to the point where I receive frustrated so I yank out the earphone out of his ear. He just stood there, looked at me, and just said, "I'm not going to deal with this" and walked away. I got very mad, and chased after him, now with both earphones in his ears, stand in front of him and explained myself, while he just shook his head, actually smiling, and continued to walk. I broke down in tears. The next day, whenever I saw him in the halls, he just turned the opposite direction from me. From then on I realized that I can't deal with him anymore. I ignored him, focused on other things, and actually flirted with a few guys. I was actually doing great till two weeks after the mishap I was walking down the hall and realized he was right behind me, then we both went downstairs together, side by side. It wasn't till the last flight of stairs till he said, "What's up?" in the most cocky way I've ever heard. I just ignored the question and walked to my class. After that class, I walked down the hall and noticed he was coming towards me from the other end, passing the stairs... knowing that his class was far upstairs. He was about to turn until he looked down the direction from where my previous class was, and walked down my direction and repeated the previous question from before when he got close to me. For the next three days he did the same, once each day. By then it was the weekend, and on Monday he never said anything, but did on Tuesday. He only ever said "What's up?" to me. Wednesday he didn't, on Thursday he actually said "Hello" to me and then on Friday as I was walking down the hall, he passed by me, alone, and said something, that I actually forgot as I type this now... it wasn't really important though. After school on Friday I was outside talking to my pal and noticed that he was behind me, talking to that friends' boyfriend... he and my ex are good friends. She left, and I looked for my bus, and noticed it was tardy, so I just stood on the sidewalk waiting for it alone. My ex was walking to his bus with his pal, but suddenly turned around and looked at me, nice of grinning, and he and his friends walked over to his friends' girlfriend (the one I was talking to.) After a few minutes, I was still waiting for the bus and my ex walked over next to me and said "Hey". I responded back normally, and he asked how's it going, anything interesting going on. I just responded with my answers, to the point, but not one word answers or anything, but I didn't ask him anything. There was a silence, but then he said "I didn't expect this to happen" not exactly being specific so I didn't respond. There was another silence then I guess we both noticed the buses were getting ready to leave so he said "I think I'm going to miss my bus". I didn't respond to that either so after a few seconds he put a hand on my shoulder and said "Have a good weekend" and ran to his bus. What's going on here? Why has he acted the way he did earlier and why is he acting this way now? What's he trying to do? I'm sorry this was so long. :(

Open Question: Wife Starving me from Sex, Making me contemplate having an affair?
My wife and I have been married happily since 2006.. Everything between us is great.. We receive a long great, we make eachother giggle constantly, but there is one major problem.. Ever since we've been married, suddenly it seems her sex steer has dropped like a rock in water... Before getting married, she used to be so... Freaky.. Without getting into details, she was basicly ready every the time, and that was something I loved about her, because my steer is high... After getting married, she never wants to do Oral, She wants me to give it to her? But like for example, I had a work trip coming up , I was going to be out of town for nearly 4 weeks overseas.. She Put off sex for the entire last 2 weeks of me being home... She kept on saying.. " Later, Later , Later ".. Then literally 2 hours before my flight shes like. Ok do you want to have sex? I mean?? Why is she starving me of sex I don't understand it... I have never cheated on her before but for the first time it's starting to sound like a reasonable opition... I adore my wife, I still think she's the most beautiful lady on earth, but I can't just be sexless like this.. And to those who are thinking maybe she's sick or depressed.. She isn't either.. She's been checked medically and she is fine.. I just feel like she's being lazy.. Either that or maybe she's cheating.. I have no Idea

Open Question: Could my asthma be coming back?
I had asthma when I was very, very young, but went away when I was three. Nearly 20 years later I'm thinking I still might be affected by it. For as long as I can remember whenever I giggle very difficult I receive a lot of phlegm and takes me longer than everyone else to catch my breath. I also become very short of breath when I'm out in the icy, or even climbing a flight of stairs (but for some reason I can run for miles fine?). Also, common colds always seem to affect me the worse. Like brother could have the same illness and have sore throat, but be fine in a few days. For me though it always goes to my chest and I'll be coughing for weeks before it goes away. The reason I never considered this could be from my asthma as a child is because I don't experience wheezing, just easily out of breath.

Open Question: How do i get into Airport Program Analyst and what training programs are available?
I am currently finishing up my flight dispatcher certificate with one quarter of classes to go. dispatchers typically make money in a wide earning field some very low and some very high depending on location, carrier size, and experience. i recently looked into the Airline job listing and saw the job Supervisory Program Analyst and now id like to know how i can receive into that especailly seeing as how it offers much better pay and i will already be in the business anyway.

Open Question: READ THIS NOW! What planes does delta fly from DTW to SFO?
I'm flying to San Fran from Detroit this summer on Delta. It is flight number 541. It leaves on June 28, 2012 and leaves at 7:55 PM eastern time. What plane will I be flying on? Also, I'm flying first class, how are the seats on the aircraft I'm flying on for first class? Will it have PTVs? Thanks a ton.

Open Question: refund ryanair...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Hello everyone, I have a question...i was just booking a flight with ryanair when suddenly, the power in my home went down. So, when i got it back, i decided to start the whole booking process over and booked my flight...when i went to my email address to check my flight confirmation, i noticed that my precedent flight before the power went down went throught..so, i ended up buying 2 flight tickets instead of one...Do u think ryanair will give cancel one of my two flights? it was already expensive..now i got 2 flights. Thanks for every your answers..hopefully, i will receive lucky.

Open Question: Travelling with an infant on Cathy Pacific or British Airways.?
I am planning to travel on a longhaul flight with my baby (15 months), either Cathy Pacific or British Airways. I want to buy a child fare for her so she can receive her possess seat. I know Cathy pacific can give you some sort of child restraint seat attatched to the normal seat, but i have read they say the seat does not recline. (So how is she going to snooze?) So i am wondering whether the restraining seat can recline after i have reclined the normal seat or if it does not recline at every? Also, am i still entitled to sit in the bulkhead section (the 1st row) if i buy the child fare? Finally, if i do not opt for the child restraint seat, can i just let her lie down on the seat to snooze? Obviously i know they provide a safetytbelt for her attatched to my seatbelt during takeoff and landing, so can i let her snooze on the seat after that? Please share your experiences, Cathy pacific or BA with infants. Thank you.

Open Question: A question about airplanes, lift force and stability?
Figure below shows that, as a consequence of changes in an aircraft’s flight conditions (e.g. velocity, angle of attack etc.), the line of action of the lift force is no longer coincident with the centre of mass of the aeroplane. Instead, it is shifted forwards by a distance of dL. If the aeroplane in question were not a conventional design, such as a Concorde, suggest how the stability could be restored? Thanks

My parents and I have an overnight layover while traveling to Egypt and we really would like to know where the Arab dominant area is in the city. Open Question: How to train a dog to potty inside or in a cage?
A lot of people wanna train their dogs to potty outside. But I'm leaving to the Philippines for a vacation and taking my dog with me. My dog has been trained to potty outside, the problem is flight from us to germany is 12hrs. germany to singapore 12hrs. singapore to philippines is 4 hours i think? now my dog holds in his feces & urine til i actually bring him out out, im kinda scared that he'll hold it for the whole flight. so i was wondering how can i train him to potty inside with the training pads or in his cage??

Open Question: Marine Corps Flight Crew?
So I've been trying to do a lot of research these past few days, and other than the marine corps website, and ask.com, I haven't been able to find ANYTHING. I'm going in to be part of the marine corps flight crew. Does anyone have any experience or information on it? What's a normal day like? What's it going to be like? What are some of the primary responsibilities I'll have? Also, I wouldn't mind seeing some statistics. It's not that I'm afraid of danger (If I was, why would I join the corps?) I just believe in having knowledge. How often do the marine birds go down? are crashes common? What is the rate/percentage of death for those in this field? Any and every USEFUL information is welcome!

Open Question: Is it normal to collect flight tickets on the day?
I am travelling abroad in a couple of weeks. I haven't been abroad for a few years due to having tiny kids. When I used to travel I would have my tickets about 2 weeks before departure. Got a call from travel agent the other day saying Thomas Cook were now issuing tickets on the day of departure. This makes me very nervous in case there is a problem. Does anyone know if this is normal ( it wasn't a last minute deal). Thanks

Open Question: Other cool movies like Red Bull's Art of Flight?
In case you haven't seen it, Art of Flight is an awesome film showing a group of snowboarders tearing down mountains with awesome dubstep/trance/techno/home music in the background, like Deadmau5, Nero, etc. Are there any other films like this? Something with chilly visuals and great music. I'm not looking for a documentary or something particularly informative or with a plot or storyline, but more like something to watch when you're stoned, frankly speaking. lol

Open Question: when you buy flight tickets online when do they take the money out of your acccount?
I bought two sets of return flight tickets for later this year. I paid for them with a debit card. The two sets of tickets were with two different airlines. Any idea when the money will go out of my account. Just trying to budget my money I have been sent a confimation but bought it during the week quite a few days ago and the money still hasn't gone out for either set of flights. Wondering if they do not take the money until the change of month or even until I fly

Ok so I don't have a good relationship with my dad at every. I'm 23 and he and my mom got divorced when I was 8 and after that he nice of just stopped wanting to look me and my sister. BUT my sisters son birth day came up and our dad wanted to go to his party and she let him How could my sister let him into my nephew's life like that!? Knowing every the times he has let us down, why would she want to put him in the same situation?? He has even raped me and abused me not like a spank but would beat me tell i was bleeding!! And my mom has been seeing him and thinking about re marrying him my sister said she had no problem with it because he never did any thing to her so do i need to let go of the past and for give him and my mom my mom knew what was going on but she said she loved him do i just need to keep them every out of my life i don't know what do any more i will be starting my new job next week as a flight attendant so i'm glad i don't have to be around every them but what should i do

Open Question: Who do I contact about airline age requirements?
I am 17 years old and I'm planning on flying alone for the first time. My parents are still a little iffy on the idea, so I want to make sure I have every the information I can to show them that I have done the research and I am able to do this. I've been looking at Expedia mostly for flights, but recently they stopped allowing me to look for flights unaccompanied by an adult. I'm pretty sure most airlines will allow me to fly at 17, since I'll be only months away from adulthood at the time, but I'd like to check and make sure. The flights I'm looking at have a layover. I'd be going from STL-Lambert-St. Louis Intl, layover in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Intl, and end in Jacksonville (JAX). Would I have to contact each individual airport for their age requirements? Also, has anyone been to the Atlanta airport and have any tips about navigating? That is the one I'm worried about, since I know its a very big airport. Thanks!

Open Question: Am I too old to be an Air Force pilot?
I turned 25 in January and will quite possibly be 26 by the time I am done with basic training because I will be joining the military (hopefully the Air Force) towards the end of this summer. My dream is to be a pilot. But I heard you have to be below 29 to receive into flight school. I have a college degree, but I am sure I can't be an officer the day after I enlist. Also, I am not a citizen so I will have to apply for Officer Candidate School after I receive my citizenship, which will be right after basic training. Now, how long does it take to become an officer and go to flight training after enlisting? Would it be practical for me to think that I might be able to make it before the cutoff age?

Open Question: Been struggling with a name for my main character FOREVER?
So, I've been writing a book, and I've changed it a million times over for a million reasons, one of them being I'm never satisfied with the main character's name. Her name's evolved over the months, and it's gone from: Kyts'lnovae (Nova for short) Rynovelle (Velle for short) Lucella Alixelle (Alix for short) Her basic profile: 16 years old, brown hair, blue eyes, 5'2, not particularly pretty, but the sort of gal you can look blending into the crowd, or who could change to herself to look like any nice of person, which she does often. Personality: She's a trickster, and has a penchant for spinning tall tales (in other words, she lies a lot). Independent, she often strays away from other people, but is always fiercely protective of her younger sister. She always tries to play off her deeper feelings by joking around or lying yet again. One of the fears she refuses to admit to herself is the fear of being seen as helpless, vulnerable, or weak. Her morality is sort of on the flip side, but she has her nice moments. Observant, keen, and whimsical, she can easily stir up a ruckus, but doesn't go out of her way to find trouble. She's more a flight than a battle nice of person. Another note: Her mom's dead and her dad's missing, which nice of made her the way she was (she's a bit of thief and pulls an assortment of odd jobs to receive by). She also has some "extra" abilities.....which is part of the story (it's a fantasy), such as the ability to manipulate water, and deceive people into easily believing practically anything she says. Eventually she meets a group of people who can look through her. IMPORTANT: her twin brother's (whom she doesn't know about) name is Alexae, and I was hoping to make their names sort of similar. His name was originally going to be Rylen, thus I made Rynovelle which was a mix of his name plus "adore." But I got sleepy of the name, so I keep changing it. So, suggestions?

Okay, so my mom is thinking about letting me and my younger sister to Chicago to visit some family BUT she wants to know how much a flight ticket cost. I am 15 and my sis is 11. Open Question: Is there an issue with breastfeeding?
I am asking a rather personal question for women but it stems from an incident I ran into. While traveling on a jet plane a young lady with a child was seated next to me. Prior to the flight taking off she asked me if it was okay for her to breastfeed her baby. I was a bit shocked. Of course I had no objections - she is feeding her child. We had a nice flight where she nursed her baby as needed and we chatted now and then when I was not busy with work. It seemed the baby was one of the calmest I have ever seen on a flight - no fussing of crying, even with the pressure changes. My question is: Do every women seek approval to breastfeed there child? Do women (in general) have an issue with feeding an baby naturally? Is there a social problem with breastfeeding? Is this an issue with the public or with the individual? If it is social, who trained women that breastfeeding in public is wrong? I just fail to look why a lady would need approval to feed her baby when the baby needs it. Do you, personally, have an issue with breastfeeding? Please help me as I am confused.
